Missing Mother Found

Dear residents,

During a routine patrol yesterday on the 12th of January, officers were approached by a male reporting his mother has gone missing. She suffers from dementia and has left the house whilst he was preparing a meal for her. 

Multiple units searched by car whilst your local officers searched by foot, after three hours of extensive foot searches, officers were informed by local residents that she had been seen around central Brixton. 

CCTV operators were contacted who successfully located her on camera. A unit was dispatched to her location, and she was safely returned to her son.

The met takes missing people very seriously especially when it comes to vulnerable people, it is important to report people that have gone missing as quick as possible.
